Following Our Dreams Is Food for the Soul

Dreams are the spice of life. Without them life would have no color or flavor, but pursuing them can be uncomfortable sometimes and downright terrifying. You may also experience self doubt and opposition in the pursuit of living out your dreams which may also add to your discomfort. There is a certain amount of uncertainty in dreams because dreams are the unknown. They are just a figment of our imaginations until they are realized. The catch here is that if we allow our discomfort to overcome us then we quit and our dreams never become a reality.

Here are some reasons why you shouldn’t give up and quit. When you pursue your dreams you become more resourceful at problem resolution as you meet obstacles and over come them. This in turn is confidence building. It takes patience, time and effort to pursue your dreams. You will gain more patience by learning to exercise it. Effort requires persistence which will strengthen your endurance and resoluteness. Your faith will grow. Each subsequent time that you begin to have self doubt you’ll remember the last time and what you gained. You may even begin to seek out other like minded, passionate individuals and want to inspire them. This can bring a sense of accomplishment and feelings of happiness which are rewarding. You have one life. You shouldn’t waste it living in fear. No one else will chase your dreams for you. Do you really want to waste the opportunity? Regret that you didn’t begin sooner, but trust that everything happened in the right time.
